Every Thursday afternoon, boxes of seasonal vegetables are delivered to homes in Helston using the Mustard SeedVan. Under the supervision of one of our volunteers, the trays are packed in the morning and taken out by those we support who have learning disabilities. This is justone of the Mustard Seedactivities in which they acquire essential life skills of dealing with the general public and handling money, which will help them to integrate into the wider community.
Wherever possible the produce used is grown by local farmers, or comes from our own allotment. If you would like a weekly or fortnightly visit from the Vegetable Round, there are three sizes of box available. Please contactDavid Williams our Development Manager on 01326 564194
